Senior & Principal Econometricians

MBN has partnered with a leading media company in search of several Econometricians to join their newly established team.
The successful candidates will measure the effectiveness and efficiency of media plans and apply these learnings to shape the overall media strategy.
What you'll do:
- Work with a team of econometricians at various levels to deliver the Econometric roadmap for the company.
- Build and update a suite of Econometric models, and turn outputs into actionable insights to drive value.
- Engage with stakeholders to support the integration of findings into business decisions.
- Mentor junior econometricians in the team, supporting their development and coaching them to become future experts in the field.
What you'll bring:
- A numerate degree such as Economics, Econometrics, Maths, or Statistics.
- Experience in delivering econometrics projects with an established provider in the industry.
- A passion for using advanced statistical techniques to convert observable data into actionable recommendations.
- An understanding of media planning and buying, along with experience using optimization techniques to inform media planning.
- Clear understanding of the relevant tool sets for building econometric models, and advanced use of Excel.
- Self-motivation, an enthusiastic attitude, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic commercial context.
- A strong record of modelling, ideally with experience in upskilling junior econometricians in modelling principles and best practices.
