    £130,000 - £150,000 + benefits

     

    Reporting directly to an impressive and accomplished CISO you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery, maintenance and continual improvement of IT strategy, services, and operations to internal and external stakeholders.

    This role involves working with internal and external service providers and managing a small but growing team with a focus on continual improvement and service excellence.

    The Job:

    • Provide oversight for the end-to-end delivery and ongoing management of IT services, including infrastructure, end user devices, and applications that fulfil the needs of the business.
    • Oversee and manage the secure and efficient delivery of the Azure cloud environment and supporting hosted global applications.
    • Manage and oversee the operational delivery of technology change projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
    • Manage and oversee the design, maintenance and scalability of the IT infrastructure that supports the business and IT services it provides to internally and to clients.
    • Identify and implement mitigations for IT related risks including areas, such as business continuity and disaster recovery.
    • Lead the development of the operational aspects of the technology strategy and roadmap and ensure its implementation and effective integration with broader strategic plans.
    • Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on commerciality and suitability for integration within existing IT operations and service environments.
    • Develop, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT service delivery and operations.
    • Oversee incident and problem management processes to ensure timely resolution of issues and implement preventative measures to reduce the frequency of incidents.
    • Lead, manage and mentor a small team of IT staff including the recruitment, training and performance evaluations of IT staff, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continual improvement.

    The Person:

    • Proven experience leading IT teams and managing large projects within complex federated environments.
    • Experience of designing and implementing IT services and solutions within global organisations.
    • In-depth knowledge of IT service management and application maintenance and development best practices.
    • Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud computing including PAAS/IAAS/SAAS.
    • Expertise in Microsoft technologies and leveraging them to support the development and delivery of IT services including SharePoint, Dynamics, Azure Cloud and Power Platform.
    • Budget management experience and a high degree of financial acumen.
    • Proficient in project management methodologies including waterfall and agile.
    • Preferably experience in effectively managing cross-functional teams, influencing key stakeholders, across the organisation and within complex contexts.
    • Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics.
    • Success in leveraging both traditional practices, such as IT service management and Agile DevOps.
    • Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources both internal and external to the Global Executive Office to enhance capabilities that support business objectives.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to senior leaders, and business concepts to the technology team.
