MBN Solutions is collaborating with a Retail Bank to bring on board a talented Lead Data Scientist to help drive better decision-making through the development of advanced customer lifecycle decisioning products. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, lead a small sub-team, and continuously learn and apply new techniques within an AGILE framework. The customer division's goal is to establish long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships through data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather technical requirements from stakeholders through an AGILE approach
Design and implement data-driven solutions to enhance customer experience
Oversee the deployment, governance, and performance monitoring of solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to life
Mentor and lead a small team of data scientists
Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques

Qualifications:

Extensive background in data science and machine learning production
Retail banking experience (preferred)
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and drive results
Strong problem-solving abilities and optimisation techniques (beneficial)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Shiny
Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS and Azure
