    Machine Learning Scientist – Python - Investment – London - £75k

    Are you a Machine Learning Engineer with an understanding of the finance industry?

    Would you like to help us develop and implement some exciting AI products to be used in the finance sector?

    Who will I be joining?

    We’re a global Finance & Insurance company with over 50,000 people across the globe and we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our innovation team to work with Researchers, Engineers and Scientists across 4 different product areas to build AI/Machine Learning products for our users.

    What should my background look like?

    You’ll be a Data Scientist with experience developing from SOTA in Machine Learning for the financial service or related industries. You’ll have worked with a variety of datasets including, text and transactions and be able to communicate technical information to non technical colleagues.

    What skills should I have?

    Must have

    • Educational background in Maths/Stats/Data Science based
    • At least 3 years of Python programming experience and familiar with libraries such as Pandas and SKLearn
    • At least 3 years of experience developing Machine Learning models
    • Experience developing Deep learning models using (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras etc)

     

    Great to have

    • Publications in any of the top journals or conferences (AI, TPAMI, IJCV, JMLR, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP, ICLR, and IJCAI)

     

    Who will I work with?

    You’d be based in our London office at the heart of the financial district in the City of London. Working within the innovative R&D team of 25 (and growing) highly talented Engineers (data and Machine Learning), Data Scientists (applied and research) and designers. These include alumni from some of the world’s top universities, published Scientists in renowned peer review journals such as JMLR, TMAPI and IJCV and conferences such as NIPS, ICML and EMNLP.

     

    What’s on offer?

    There’s a generous base salary of up to £75k on offer including car allowance, as well as bonus, flexible working and the usual benefits you’d expect from a multinational company such as healthcare, medical insurance etc.
