About the Role
MBN Solutions are proud to support a long-standing client in their search for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team.
The company are renowned for keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends, having highly skilled technology teams, and being a friendly & supportive place to work!
They are looking for someone to join a globally distributed team and play a key part in a large-scale rollout of a new cloud based Data Platform. Key responsibilities within this role include:
- Lead the development of intricate end-to-end data pipelines, solutions, and models. Provide guidance, design reviews, and support for data designs and models. Contribute to platform migration efforts.
- Create and improve complex data pipelines and solutions in an agile environment, mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data, and design teams on data-related projects aligned with business goals.
- Promote continuous improvement and exemplify a mindset of ongoing enhancement.
- Support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with systems, pipelines, and data.
About You
- Proven experience within a Data Engineering position. Particularly a strong understanding of Data Architecture, exposure to end-end data solution design, and knowledge of Kimball Modelling concepts.
- Experience with the following technologies: AWS Redshift, Snowflake, and Matillion.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members & passionate about sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills - particularly the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
