    Software Developer (Support Team)

    For one of MBNs Clients in Glasgow we're looking for an experienced .NET developer to join our clients development team.

    The client are a Microsoft Gold partner in web and cloud services to deliver the majority of our web projects. You will be working across a wide range of clients in multiple sectors to create innovative web applications.

    On a daily basis your role will include:

    • Investigating, analysing and resolving code defects
    • liaising directly with our clients and working with other members of the support team to meet service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Problem analysis, troubleshooting, performance monitoring and reporting
    • Ideating and producing specifications and scopes for client feature requests.
    • In this role you will have the opportunity to develop your C# .Net skills by working closely with our experienced 14-strong development team. You will work with and learn about Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure and gain valuable experience in construction and maintenance of cloud solutions. As you progress, you will have the opportunity to take on internal projects and initiatives to drive forward the development team’s processes.

    Your skills and experience

    • 1-3 years’ experience working with C# .Net systems. Your experience should include active development in the .Net C# technology stack.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
    • Working knowledge of Azure is desirable.
    • Working knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) as well as any Frameworks (Angular, Vue, React)
    • Knowledge of Umbraco is highly desirable (many of the solutions you will be developing and supporting have Umbraco at their core and knowledge of the CMS’s ins and outs will be very useful)
    • Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodology is desirable
    • Agency experience is highly desirable.
