    Technology Delivery Executive / Scrum Master – Scotland


    MBN are exclusively partnering with an amazing AI & Data Analytics startup who are building their Tech Centre in Glasgow. They are seeking a Delivery Executive to join their growing team.

    The ideal candidate would need to be a current Scrum Master or Delivery Manager working for a Tech firm.

    This is not a technical role, but the Delivery Executive will need to be able to communicate with technical & non technical audiences, as they will be acting as a bridge between tech & sales teams.

    The Delivery executive role is ideal for someone who wants to have full autonomy on making business decisions, have a clear purposeful journey & work with a team of likeminded forward-thinking individuals.

    Key Project delivery Responsibilities


    Coordinate the successful delivery of their key client projects. They have a mix of key flagship projects as well as standing up SaaS services for smaller clients. This requires both portfolio management of projects as well as heavy lifting on the larger clients They have major project work in product delivery, academic research, industry project (methodologies and standards etc) and government engagement. This role will focus on those projects that are client focused however will also be a contributor on all others.


    Conducting product planning sessions for the product squads which includes facilitating prioritization of deliverables, identifying cross-squad dependencies and locking down timelines of prioritized deliverables as well as hosting regular sprint synchronization meetings between the squads to manage and track the inter-squad and tribe dependencies


    Report on sprint delivery and accomplishments with the Product Manager and product developers or technical team to ensure key vendor dependencies are in plan and tracked as well as contribute to the overall program plan reporting on the product delivery squads.


    Ensure that the programs governance, standards, and best practices are followed in line with the programme management and execution chapter.



    Essential experience required includes: 


    • Degree educated.
    • Recognised qualifications in Agile and Project Management.
    • Excellent programme and project delivery with 5+ years experience.
    • Recognising that this is a start-up role with lots being defined and agreed as we go, it is essential that you can demonstrate that you have the skills, capability, and fresh thinking to take on such a fluid and developing role.
    • Whilst this is not a technical role, there will be a need to demonstrate an ability to understand and articulate some aspects of the technology design.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills – everyone  is client facing and expected to interact with industry partners, regulators, clients and to speak at conferences and industry events so an ability to clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in an engaging way is an essential strength.
    • Experience in workshop facilitation of complex stakeholders including in a virtual setting.
    • Experience of working in a technology firm or sector.
    • Flexibility to travel across the UK & client site
