MBNs client, a leading technology company is in search for a Head of Data Science to help lead their Data Science division.
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on the use of data within a customer experience capacity coupled with strong commercial acumen.
This is for a world-renowned company and will enable the Data Science team to utilise data to improve the customer experience for the whole business.
Lead a data science strategy to deliver actionable analytics solutions for a variety of functions within the business.
Drive thought leadership to evolve machine learning capabilities to support the company’s strategy.
Responsible to help identify and implement advanced analytics and data science solutions for driving the company’s growth and value
Assist in continually growing and recruiting a data science function, building a world-class team of Data Scientists.
Assist in building a robust analytics platform, helping the business understand all data which will give insight on all customer interactions.
Develop and implement best practices covering areas such as model development, test design, and deployment.
Demonstrable leadership skills building and managing large Analytics and Data Science teams
Ability to deliver advanced analytics solutions in a large scale cloud environment
Experience translating business context and create opportunities through actionable insight from data to drive business value.
Experienced stakeholder manager with great communication skills is essential
Experience using Python with experience on GCP (BigQuery, GCS, Datalab, Dataproc, Cloud ML, Tensorflow)
Machine learning experience, with commercial experience using skills such as regression, decision trees, random forests, boosting, clustering, GLM, Bayesian hierarchical is desirable.
Deep Learning experience is desirable.
Data modeling (relational and key-value pair)
Degree in either Computer science, mathematics engineering or Statistics or equivalent.
