Technical Support Engineer
MBN have partnered with a multi award-winning scale-up based in Edinburgh city centre, as we assist with their search for a Technical Support Engineer/Analyst.
This is an opportunity for an experienced customer-facing support engineer, with solid knowledge of both hardware and software support to join a “tech for good” scale-up in Edinburgh, who have one of the most advanced technological systems in their field.
Having gained their first paying customers at the end of last year and with big plans and projections of significantly growing their customer base, they have identified the need for a dedicated support team to work alongside clients and assist with the troubleshooting, triaging, and fixing of potential problems/issues.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated support analyst to join a really ambitious organisation. Your role will hold responsibility for building strong client relationships, as you manage, escalate and resolve issues through a ticketing system.
What experience will you need to have?
- Strong customer facing support experience
- Experience with both hardware and software support, with a true engineering mindset
- Technical knowledge and experience of Cloud based systems, Networking/VPN, basic SQL
- You will need to be a solid communicator and able to deal with high-pressure
