Calum Leslie

Founder of Peatreekers

Calum founded Peatreekers to tell the untold stories of the darker side of whisky. Based on the 18th century renegades, the Peatreekers were the brave few who defied Royal Decree to make illicit Scotch and were Scotland’s original whisky makers.

Three centuries on, Calum is bringing back the rebel spirit by launching his own brand of whisky and invites you to take part in an exclusive tasting. Peatreekers launched on 10th November and this evening you get a chance to taste some of the first drops of Calum’s original release: Double Standard, an Islay blended malt.

So, join him and raise a glass to the rogues that unwittingly helped the whisky industry mature into what it is today.
