We all hate recruiters, right? Wrong…
Recruiters are a frequently underrated, over abused group of people who often have the client and the candidate’s best interests at heart. So… is a career in recruitment right for me?
This question ran through my head a number of times before accepting the position at MBN Solutions.
To be honest, I doubt many people grow up dreaming of being a recruiter (it doesn’t quite compare to being a rock star) and as it isn’t a career highlighted at university, most people don’t know much about what recruitment entails.
Nevertheless, after a number of interviews and a lot of research on my side I accepted the role and it turns out recruitment is the right career choice for me.
After entering as a graduate with a Psychology background in 2012 I was delighted to attain the Top Performer position at MBN Solutions just 3 years later in 2015. It was one of the proudest moments of my career to receive this award and the scintillating prize of a week-long all-inclusive holiday to the Maldives for me and my very happy boyfriend! When I joined MBN Solutions I had no recruitment experience but through hard work, determination, excellent training & support I achieved this career high.
Well now it’s your turn. I’m looking to recruit a dynamic, customer service individual who wants to take their career forward. The role involves no cold calling and you will work directly with me focusing on finding the very best candidates in the field of BigData and IT. Full training will be provided in our training academy and you’ll be sitting right next to me working on vacancies together. BigData is transforming our business world and this is a chance for you to learn all about it – don’t worry it was all new to me too when I started.
I’m looking for someone with the right attitude to help our candidates through the process of one of their biggest life changes, taking on a new role. You will be involved in identifying appropriate candidates, briefing them on the role and supporting them through the interview process.
This is still a performance focussed role (but no cold calls or sales) – you will be monitored on key achievements such as quality of CV send outs, market knowledge, interview prep detail and overall client / candidate satisfaction.
We have a strong relationship with a large number of global clients, these relationships have been nurtured over many years so we are looking for someone who will represent us well by providing top talent and hopefully improve and develop these key relationships through high performance.
The rewards and incentives are amazing – within 3 years I have been to Miami, Ibiza, Iceland all expenses covered and received a lot of support with fundraising for a trip to Uganda.
There are also a wide range of opportunities to progress with ongoing training and support through all stages.
