Visually driven data science and analytics - in Formula 1 and beyond
Edinburgh
Synopsis
Learn how the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team partners with TIBCO to analyse, simulate, optimise and predict all aspects from the car's design and development, to the race-day set-up and strategy.
Behind this is a visually driven data science and analytics methodology that empowers people to interact with live data and models, ensuring their domain expertise is maximised in an augmented analytics approach.
This talk will include a live demonstration of this methodology using data from TIBCO's very own F1 simulator where we will cover every step of the data science life cycle from data gathering all the way to model explainability and deployment, embracing technologies such as Python.
