    Head of AI & Data Products (Edinburgh)

    Our client is looking for an outcome-focused, hands-on leader to design, deliver, and evolve AI and data-powered products that drive real strategic impact. In this position, you’ll blend modern product management with data governance, transforming how an organisation leverages insights and automation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the full product lifecycle for AI and data products – from discovery to adoption and continuous improvement.
    • Transform static reports into dynamic, predictive insights that inform decision-making.
    • Own internal data governance and cataloguing practices, driving adoption and usability.
    • Build and maintain product roadmaps that connect data work to measurable strategic outcomes.
    • Foster data literacy and promote responsible AI across the organisation.
    • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align data product delivery with organisational goals.
    • Design and automate strategic KPIs to enable informed, transparent decision-making.

    About You:

    • Proven experience as a senior product or delivery manager/owner, delivering impactful AI, data, or platform products.
    • Expertise in modern data governance, data cataloguing (e.g. Microsoft Purview or equivalents), and quality management.
    • Experience managing research or insight teams, embedding modern practices for dynamic insights.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills, with a record of influencing at senior levels.
    • Familiarity with Generative AI and intelligent automation applications is highly desirable.
    • Passion for embedding responsible AI and data ethics in all work.
