You’ll be responsible for developing a centralized business layer that empowers data democratization, enabling self-service analytics across the company.

This role requires deep GCP expertise, a strong grasp of modern data modelling best practices, and experience collaborating across platform and analytics teams. You'll work closely with platform engineers, analysts, and business users to ensure data models are both robust and accessible.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain standardized, scalable data models (Business Layer) aligned with the needs of a specific business domain.
    • Serve as the domain-level data expert and point of contact for platform integration needs.
    • Proactively identify and escalate risks to data delivery timelines or roadmap goals.
    • Independently acquire, model, and transform data from various sources to support domain-specific reporting and analytics.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with complex data modelling.
    • Proven ability to design, build, and maintain standardized business logic layers across BI or analytics platforms.
    • Experience implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data tools.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently to deliver scalable solutions.
    • Skilled in documenting data lineage and supporting self-service data use across teams.
    • Experience working with version control systems (e.g., GitHub/GitLab).
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams (data platform, analytics, business stakeholders).
    • Proficiency in tools and platforms such as dbt, GCP (especially BigQuery), and Python.
    • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and debugging issues in data pipelines.
    • Self-starter mentality with a focus on continual improvement and scalable code development.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a forward-thinking data team committed to enabling enterprise-wide insight and innovation.
